The Fighting-Machines, also known vulgarly as the martian tripods, are large multipurpose combat vehicles operated by the Martians that were used as the primary war machine during their Conquest of the earth

Design and function

The martian fighting machines were originally built inside of the giant martian cylinder pits by the highly sophisticated Handling-machines before being activated from inside of the cylinders

The martian fighting machines are operated by a single martian pilot inside of a large brazen "hood" attached to a body with three articulated legs. the fighting machine has various tentacles that it can use for tasks such as abducting people, grabbing onto objects or even building other fighting machines. The tentacles can also be used to hold weapons such as the heat ray and the black smoke cannon. The tentacles can also be used as melee weapons when the heat ray and black smoke launchers are not needed

Each martian fighting machine carries a large device capable of firing a concentrated blast of fire known as the "heat ray" that is capable of rapidly heating up objects to the point of incandescence. The heat ray is used as an offensive weapon in more concentrated attacks.

In skullgirls

One vessel was repurposed by Smokey 2.22 to raid the Sausage Factory, to keep all the smoked sausages to himself, complete with a dancing script to the Hokey Pokey. This one looked similar to a standard uniform Fighting-Machine, although rusted and splattered with white stains, forever looking like it was drenched in cum, he tried to fix it by painting black around it, but he did a crap job, and so people called it the cow tripod. Snotty Boy obliterated it, by farting on it and tipping it over. After which he commented with "that's called cow tippin'! Haw-haw-haw".
