CommanderNemex

W.I.P. Article. Right now this redirects to Ken Penders because of how he originally wrote Monika making him interchangeable with the slushie rights holder. Most of that version of the character had been deconstructed and rewritten to fit Neo Scary Godmother / Skullgirlz lore.
CommanderNemex is widely regarded as the second worst writer and USERtm in SBFW history, surpassed only by SquidTron C, who somehow managed to be even more incompetent through sheer misfortune. As SquidTron C complained about how SBFW was declining due to the Freaky Saga and Neo Scary Godmother trolls, the truth was that the kiddies in the 2020s era would never make a actually good spinoff like Cult of Squid or even any spinoff outside of the funny DPCU which was the only saving grace on the site prior to the Neo-Scary Godmother opinion bashers showing up to show how moronic the site was in terms of writing. Anyways the Freaky Saga gave the site something to care about despite the USERs arguing that some of the content is distasteful which is a lie due to how PC SOAP was. SquidTron C would write episodes where Monika the most terrible waifus and worst written character kills FreakyBob just because he was a brainrot meme. Much like the Great Meme Reset morons brainrot is simply a word created by 30 year old boomers that want to sound smart but aren't smart. Nemex’s legacy is defined by a series of baffling creative decisions, most infamously the Monika and Dexter Fishery ship, which is often cited as the single worst pairing the site ever produced. His influence is also a major reason for SBFW’s long-standing hostility toward SMG4, as his work helped sour large portions of the community against anything associated with that style of content. Among his most criticized contributions is the Goddess Admin USB, a plot device so poorly conceived and executed that it is routinely labeled the worst in all of SBFW fiction. Even bad stories and bad spinoffs from the pre-Nemex era that can be considered USER shit, is generally considered less poorly written than Nemex’s characters, which many critics liken to the quality level associated with CWC-era infamy. SBFW had been a largely unknown site to SpongeBob fans and it's claim to fame was being incompetently ran with articles like Chris Chan being more known than it's use of SpongeBob. CommanderNemex remains only known as a joke by both the admins of SBFW and the writers of the Freaky Saga.
Within the Freaky Saga, CommanderNemex is portrayed jokingly as a partner in crime to Ken Penders in an alternate 2010s timeline, but the reality behind the scenes was far less ironic. ManaFreaky, the site’s head admin, was once a collaborator of Nemex in 2022 and became known for contributing dense, incoherent word-salad writing to his projects. At the same time, JellyfishSponge played a significant role as the OC creator for many of Nemex’s most infamous characters, which are now routinely mocked and ridiculed for their amateurish execution. As SBFW neared its final days, Nemex escalated matters further by inserting himself directly into the Freaky Saga through an overt self-insert character who framed himself as a righteous force aiming to destroy the freakers “for the good of society.” This character’s arc involved the gradual loss of body parts and humanity—first an arm, then more of his physical form—until he ultimately became a full robot, a transformation many readers found unintentionally emblematic of the story’s loss of any emotional core.
In an attempt at damage control, ManaFreaky later tried to obscure or soften Nemex’s legacy by reworking some ideas as he was also responsible for the awful writing of that era, however Mana's role was merely limited to coming up with arcs for the characters and most of his ideas were not actually written down until after CommanderNemex left for good and could actually deconstruct these horrible OCs. JellyfishSponge231 is the real OC maker for what was CWC tier OCs. Agent Ice and the kky OCs are the only real constantly recurring characters he wrote. A few genuinely interesting ideas did emerge from the Nemex Vision rewrite, such as reframing it as a commentary on Nickelodeon’s decline in the 2010s by turning Nemex’s self-insert into a stand-in for Silicon Valley corruption, or retooling SquidTron C’s widely hated Kitty storyline to feature HET and Farfour instead. However, these ideas never progressed beyond surface-level concepts and were incapable of salvaging a series built on what many describe as incoherent, spam-like writing. Today, CommanderNemex stands as a cautionary symbol of SBFW’s creative collapse in the 2020s, a reminder of how unchecked ego, poor collaboration, and weak editorial standards contributed to the site’s eventual downfall. The best part of the Nemex Vision era is Ozzie2009's creative concepts which are funny and aged well, but could be expanded on and be even better. In addition to creating the worst shipping pair, he would flanderize Dr. Wily and Dr. Eggman depicting them as friends to SpongeBob because of Nemex's obsession with giant women and robots.
USER Tier OCs By Him or JellyfishSponge231
- Dexter Fishery: His self insert nerd with a goon waifu. You can understand why the loathsome Dung Eaters character is way better just by reading his revised page by ManaFreaky. He's generic and Mana tried to salvage the OC by ripping off Chrono Cross initially before simply seeing how much better Mort is and shelved him for good once Dung showed up with his Neo-Scary Godmother trolls on the site since Mana no longer needed to deal with the problem that was the Nemex Vision anymore since he had . This failed hard as CommanderNemex wanted him to be a generic self insert nerd with an overpowered goon waifu and did not go with his changes for the character creating the absolute worst bottom of the barrel. Even with the changes the character is still bad because the theme of the character is absolutely terrible, as you can thank him ripping off SMG4 as being the core problem with this awful ship.
- Monika (SBFW): The worst characterization of Monika from DDLC and completely ruined the character for good due to Nemex trying to make her like Featherine using the Goddess Admin USB which was ripped straight out of SMG4.
- Benson Cross: One of his slightly better characters which isn't saying much, known as an action character that could fit in the SCP Foundation universe and SpongeBob. He's basically Agent Bishop from TMNT but as a background fish within SpongeBob. His wife on the other hand is nothing more than a background extra.
- Dr. Eggman (Nemex Vision): Largely the same as the current version of the character except for the framing, instead of focusing on what makes the concept of Eggman siding with the heroes fun, he just makes him and his kids use OP reality warpers due to his obsession with reality warpers. Thankfully his character has been fixed to be more like Snapcube Eggman and Sage and Agent Ice will not be shitty SCP reality warpers. They will instead be rivals for the Twins who serve Wario before Eggman gets his real minions back.
- Lady X: A generic action girl with a mysterious past (might have something to do with Red X but it doesn't). Later retconed and replaced with Olive Oyl in the Saga
- Commander Flynn: A generic army commander that appears in the same arc as Lady X.
- Nemex Himself: The page that would later turn into his mockery.
- Palette: Generic SMG4 sounding character with a shitty name and backstory and is from the future where she fights aliens.
- Agent Ice: The single biggest waste of an OC by him and only used to make him and Sage OP reality warpers. ManaFreaky still seeks to fix this character by rewriting him to actually feel like a Sonic character instead of an out of place character asset that mixes SCP, Sonic, and SpongeBob mythos without reason.
- Silver: A shitty brother for Jenny that is a shit OC. He was later replaced with Robo-Crack.
- Jenny (SBFW): A character reduced to be nothing more than a Good Society asset for SpongeBob. SquidTron C also has his own poorly written version of Jenny Wakeman where she turns evil in the future and goes back in time like Terminator.
- Blake: Jenny Wakeman if she had an edgy rival based on Shadow. ManaFreaky replaced him with Baked Bot and he now serves the Weed Miser
- Kassandra (SBFW): How do you screw up adding a character whose only appearance is from the Cosmic Shake. By making her a cultist with writing similar to Archie Sonic's evil twin characters.
- Marina (Lights of Hope Arc): Nemex's attempt to write Mana's awful Convergence of AxZos storyline which wasn't written with any real plan aside from wanting a version of Pooh's Adventures that didn't recycle films. The Convergence of AxZos is a snore fest of poorly written ideas whose only real contribution was providing Dung and friends a short lived spinoff to write for known as SpongeBob Dimensions. Nemex would attempt his own version of Convergence of AxZos using a generic anime girl as the final antagonist instead of a SCP horror Lovecraftian Outer God with poorly written and unexplained motives.
- Tsubuyakky and Suzukky: Two poorly written James Gunn sounding characters for Dexter Fishery. These will be made fun of in the Saga.
- Scientist Vil Evil: Shitty Drakken rip-off with a generic name.
- A.I.M.S.: LOVEMUFFIN but with a blander name. Dung once again fixed Nemex's writing.
- Scientist Smarty: Generic SpongeBob OC who is a scientist. Later retconed into being Flagwheel from Drawn Together.
- Olivia Evilyn: Shitty She-go rip-off to go with Vil Evil
- Villy the Parrot: Shitty parrot pet that sounds like a rejected Saturday morning cartoon character for Scientist Vil Evil
- There are other OCs that don't have pages but are mentioned in his various SBFW Fanon films and
Weapons and Abilities
Nemex is a heavily equipped person with many tools and weapons. Throughout his battles he slowly loses more and more of his humanity, but his determination keeps him going. He actually liked being a robot more due to the fact he loves them a lot. As a human, he's a very agile and tactical person, having played multiple FPS games before the incident.
- D.D-Gun: Allows for him to travel between dimensions
- NeX-Saber: A cool lightsaber he uses for melee combat.
- NeX-Buster: A fast-shooting laser blaster.
- Duel Disk: He uses it to play Duel Monsters with style (and with cool holograms)
After becoming a cyborg, he gained the following abilities:
- Electricity Manipulation
- Tech Manipulation
- Increased Speed
- Increased Agility
- Hacking
After losing all his humanity and becoming a robot, he gained the following abilities
- Transformation (to Hyperdrive Nemex)
Hyperdrive Nemex is a transformed state of CommanderNemex. Styled after a Disassembly Drone, this is his strongest form. His eyes turn black in this form and he fights much more aggressively in a rushdown style. However this form overclocks him and if he overheats too much he may be forced to return to base form.
- Huge steel wings from his back (can slice through stuff)
- His fingers become knife-like claws (Can switch back to fingers when neccessary)
- Supersonic flight/running speed
- Can rapidly shoot laser blasts from his hands.
When dueling, CommanderNemex runs a "Centur-ion" deck, a duck focused on summoning Level 12 Synchro Monsters with the help of Centur-ion Primera. He does it fast and easy with his ace monster, Centur-ion Legatia, his favorite card when he was just a normal person. He also runs the Crimson Dragon in his deck, letting him summon powerful Dragon Synchro Monsters like Shooting Quasar Dragon and Red Supernova Dragon. He also likes Xyz Monsters, running Number 27: Dreadnought Dreadnoid to summon high rank Machine Xyz Monsters with its effect.
Personality
CommanderNemex is a friendly and tolerant individual with a sense of justice, who sees people by their personalities and not their looks or backgrounds. He doesn't judge much and loves all TV shows and games equally, although for food he is physically unable to eat shrimp. However his tolerance only goes too far as he hates the Freaky Society and wants to kill Freaky Bob to dismantle their operations. Nemex is shown to be incredibly violent when he needs to as he is once shown ripping a Freakture in half using his abilities. According to him, nobody should have enough power to rule over the complete multiverse and all fictional and parallel worlds, so he has to destroy the Freaky Society to ensure they do not reach that goal. He has a strong sense of heroism as well, even in his most aggressive form (Hyperdrive) as he tanked a laser blast to ensure a group of bystanders can evacuate the scene. He is currently an ally of the Good Society, although not a formal member as he's just a guy who befriended SpongeBob in his debut episode. In his goofier incarnations, CommanderNemex is still that friendly and tolerant individual, although not as violent or dark as his scrapped variant. Instead he likes fried chicken and making videos for fun. He's shown to be a pro gamer as well. In terms of writing there are three tropes that he uses in each season over and over again, giant fetish, robot obsession, and overdone plots about alien invasions.
