he is an extremely powerful robot that had been built inside the death star by Jacques von Hämsterviel and Cruel Fredrick, after the death star was destroyed he was relocated to tourian where he was fought by Hero

Ambatron appears as the final boss located in the bottom of the final level tourian, he attacks the player by shooting fireballs and moving around the arena. after he is defeated, a time bomb is set which blows up all of tourian, it is assumed ambatron was destroyed in the explosion.
