Status

Subject SCP-000 (対象 SCP-000) was originally a supporting character during the first half of Fanboy and Chum Chum. She was introduced as a young, timid black cat who was adopted into the orphanage of leprechauns and given the name Ruby Amelia "Amy" Rose (ルビー・エミー・ローズ Rubī Emī Rōzu). She hardly ever spoke, and remained silent for most of the original half of the Franchise. Her most notable feature is the Heartless Shadow covering the left half of her face.

After the time skip, Amy would eventually become the main overarching protagonist of entire Fanboy and Chum Chum franchise. Her life goal in the beginning is to be a magical girl and be a kind person just like her deceased adopted mother Hinawa. Amy's weapon of choice is either her High-Caliber Sniper-Scythe known as Crescent Rose or her mighty Piko Piko Hammer, in which she designed both herself.

Biography

Early Childhood

Ruby Amelia Rose was found abandoned next to a tree near the Leprechaun Orphanage on October 31th, 1996 AD in a box at the age of 5 with amnesia. Amy was not left with a note, simply a doll that had "Amy" written on it and so Sister Lane gave her the name Amelia for Amy . Unfortunately for the poor girl, like many Catholic Based Institution, she suffered a lot of abuse and bullying within the orphanage growing up. This was especially enhanced because of her unique power of causing bad luck wherever she went. Many nuns and orphans believed her to be cursed and demonic because of this and further the bullying and abuse even more.

One of the most traumatizing moments for Amy within her life at the orphanage would have been when one day, the MontClair family came to the orphanage, wanting to adopt Amy as their child. A young girl who was the only nice girl Amy had as a friend in the orphanage had overheard the conversation and was upset that her friend was going to be adopted and live with her new parents. Although Amy really wanted to have a mother and a father, she told her friend that she would decline them so the two of them could stay together forever as she never wanted to abandon someone like how she was. Her friend was comforted by her words and they made a plan. The next day, Amy purposely acted like a little child, faking that she wets the bed every night. She responded with little to no manners and soon the MontClair family gave up on her. What they did not know was that even though they didn't want Amy any more, their focus had turned to her friend who had always wanted parents of her own as well so she couldn't turn them down and accepted to become their adopted daughter. Amy was so distraught at her friend's decision, sad and absolutely heartbroken that even after she did everything to make them stay together, her friend said yes just like that. Amy had a panic attack believing that she was once again abandoned by someone she trusted and cared for. She saw her friend as a the closest thing she ever had as true family and she would always do anything for her, but it was obvious it wasn't the same with her friend.

Little Planet Arc

One day though in the flower garden of the orphanage, she would meet Sonic the Hedgehog. She already knew who he was from the news and she already thought he was very cool but after meeting him in person and seeing how heroic and kind he was to her, she couldn't help but fall in love with him for being for being the only person to think she's not a monster. Her luck would further expand when one day she would finally be adopted by Hinawa and finally have a family.

Physical Appearance

Amy is a half pink-furred anthropomorphic mammalian inspired creature with one bright green eye and half peach skin covering her muzzle, one inner ear, and both her arms. She has a small black nose and triangular ears on top of her head. She also has two medium-length eyelashes on each side of her eyes. Additionally, her five short head quills point downwards, somewhat resembling a bob cut. She also has three spikes for bangs on her head and fluffy tail resembling that of a canine. For unknown reasons still left unrevealed to viewers and characters, the left side of her head appears completely darkened.

For attire, Amy wears a red collared dress with a white puffy underskirt peeking out, white wrist-length gloves with gold bracelets for cuffs, red Mary Jane shoes, and a red hairband. She also sometimes likes to wear tall red boots with a white stripe down the centre, white cuffs, and gray soles with chunky heels.

Personality and Traits

Amy is an extremely innocent, kind-hearted, open-minded, gentle, compassionate and optimistic girl who sees the good in everyone she meets and is willing to help them no matter what shows and what they've done in the past. She does not hold any grudges toward those who have wronged her or even physically hurt her, especially in regards to Odin, who has physically and emotionally scarred most of her friends and partially got her mother killed. Despite being abused and losing many family at a very young age, she always tries to have a smile on her face, remaining sweet, hard-working and positive. She also is considered to be very airheaded, selfless, and considerate of other people's feelings.

Amy is incredibly patient, polite, and considerate when it comes to people's feelings, and her approachable and loveable aura draws people to her, making them feel understood and accepted. She is a very nurturing girl with unconditional love and immense empathy who is willing to help her friends and allies work through their traumas and emotional problems without expecting anything in return. Because of this, many characters like Metal Sonic and Bark the Polar Bear cannot help but view Amy as the loving mother they never had. She is also very protective of her friends; helping them and standing up for them without a second thought, despite her own fears, anxiety, and insecurities.

However, Amy can be a bit stubborn and easy going partly because she wants to take care of her friends, but really because she can’t face her own trauma. Behind her smile she has serious self-esteem issues and a tendency to hide her true feelings of worry, fear, and loneliness and instead project her usual cheerful exterior to give emotional support to the people around her and to not make them think lesser of her. She has great difficulty with standing up for herself and never says a word of complaint, even if others treat her like shit, because she believes that she doesn’t deserve any kindness for herself which her Jinx further makes her feel lesser towards herself.

Amy is also incredibly fragile, has a deep-rooted fear of being abandoned, and constantly lives in fear of her loved ones disappearing and abandoning her. After Hinawa passes away, Amy is overcome with fear that all their moments together and her very existence will fade away, so she promises herself to always put her adopted mother first in her heart, never talks about her in the past tense, and develops an over-attachment to photos of her. This shows that Amy's inability to move on from Hinawa’s death is weighing her down and furthering her depression and anxiety disorders.

However, as time goes on with the help of Daffy, Amy learns to speak up, make self-serving requests once in a while, and allow other people to help her and feel worthy of that help. She even lowers her guard enough to let her admit all of her insecurities and fears to Daffy, including how she had secretly resented Sonic for recuperating her love towards him and abandoning her. After gaining the knowledge that Daffy is going to be incarcerated by Odin for going against him and trying to reveal documented secrets to the public about the truth of Hinawa's death, Amy makes it her goal to go against the Golden Order government since she believes that the Golden Order is simply to corrupt for her to be apart of and the discover the truth on what the Golden Order is truly hiding from everyone. In the process, she grows more assertive, bold, and embittered towards the circumstances of this Celestial Cold War against the Christians and Satanists; Amy herself mentions that she will never go along with something she deems immoral.

Powers, Skills, and Abilities

Amy's superpower is known as Jinx. It allows the user the ability to manipulate probability negatively A.K.A. bad luck, causing misfortune wherever she goes, hence its name. Unlike most superpowers, hers is uncontrollable and is activated always without her control. Her power does not discriminate against whom it affects, including herself, which causes her to keep her distance from the people she cares about. It should be noted that all known instances of her Semblance activating on herself also proved detrimental to the people around her. She can though choose to severely amplify her superpower in a fight to amplify the chances of her opponents losing, in which case it uses severe energy from her.
