χάος (天津甕星 Ama-tsu-mika-boshi) also known as Orange or the The Annoying Orange, commonly abbreviated as A.O. is a major supporting protagonist in the Scary Godmother series and is also a former YouTuber. Orange has yellow teeth (although in Orange After Dentist and Totally Dental, he gets them whitened), grey eyes, and a braying laugh. He is best know for taunting and annoying his victims-to-be with his jovial behaviour that frequently includes burping, pestering, puns, and play-on-words. These actions often infuriate the other character(s) to the point where they start yelling at him to "shut the fuck up", only to have Orange warn them of their impending catastrophe: evisceration with a chef's knife, a blender, or other types of death. He has a very famous quote, which comes after someone calls him something that he thinks he isn't: "No, I'm not. I'm an orange!".

Carl Jung described him as a composite of people in real life, saying "everyone knows somebody like him: They don't listen, they are annoying, and at the same time they are kind of lovable".

Biography

At the beginning of time, the Orange had existed alongside God himself as his ego within the crucible. However, Orange made the mistake of never shutting up and constantly making jokes at God's expense. God, slow to anger and to id to Orange's ego, would eventually become fed up with the Orange's antics and lock him in a darkened chamber somewhere in the non-physical realm. God, despite giving the Orange a harsh punishment, gave it his full plan on how his existence would go.

The Orange would remain locked up, with nobody to speak to, nothing to do up until the days of the apocalypse. When that time came, the Orange would be given a physical orange body released upon the Earth to wreak havoc among believers and non-believers alike. However, this enjoyment would only last a few years, as once the rapture came and everyone was judged, the Orange would be tossed into the lake of fire to be burned up, his consciousness destroyed.

The Orange was not sure how to handle the information given, but was given hundreds upon thousands of years to process his situation. He decided he was okay with the situation and would carry out God's plan, despite his inevitable destruction. One day, he would be able to take all of that built-up rage caused by isolation and cast it out to the people of the Earth once he got his chance.

Personality

Orange is annoying, optimistic, dim-witted, usually cheerful, and witty he also loves to crack annoying puns. He almost always blunders things for their color. For example, Orange thought Tomato was Apple because they were both of red color, and he thought Pumpkin was an orange because he was of an orange color. Although in Previously On, Passion said Orange was colorblind. In reality, Orange is very kind and innocent at heart, because if he really likes somebody, he will try to think of something that will make them like him a little bit. As revealed in More Annoying Orange, Orange is actually considered very mild for his species, and he is considered the most annoying thing that most of the characters have ever met because they probably have never met an orange before. He probably just tells puns to make him feel better, as he has seen a lot of people get minced up, and gets upset when one of his best friends is knifed. His act of being dim-witted helps him get out of bad situations, as shown in Annoying Saw. If he gets extremely offended or hates somebody, he will be purposely annoying. When he sees someone get killed (usually by evisceration from Knife), he will usually watch in horror and sometimes scream, but if the person is someone he loathes, he will laugh at their disbursement. Sometimes it happens that Orange demonstrates his little education by mistaking a fruit for another and continuing to say that a fruit is another like it happened to Pumpkin (Orange thought it was another tremendous orange). Orange's innocent and playful antics have garnered him both a lot of friends and rivals.

The Prophecy

"And lo, in the days of countless vexation, there shall come forth an orange of great irritation. Its form shall be most confounding, bringing bewilderment upon the people. Verily, this annoying fruit shall wreak havoc upon the masses, causing turmoil and vexation to all who lay eyes upon it. Let those who have ears, hear and those who have eyes, see the folly of the annoying orange, for its wrath shall be unmatched and its destruction vast. May the people beware and prepare, for the day of reckoning is nigh when the Annoying Orange shall be unleashed upon the world." - Linus 1:8-14

During the apocalypse, the Orange will be given a physical form that is incomprehensible to humans. While anything on Earth can hurt man physically, simply gazing upon the Annoying Orange will hurt man in ways unimaginable. The Orange will ravage the surface of the globe, destroying anything that moves.

When the time of the apocalypse is over, the Orange will be risen to Heaven along with man. He will be judged and destroyed with all of the other sinners and demons. Despite this, the Orange will be happy, since he got to be annoying one last time before his eternal rest.
