Smuggington "Smug" Shitwarde (otherwise known as Smugward or Goodward) is 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝓫𝓸𝓫's main pre-timeskip enemy before the events of the SpongeBob SquarePants Cinematic Multiverse along with the Wahl Barba aka Gangsta Squillam who both oppose 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴warde Testicles, a self infected freakture with Freakycooties who lives within Troll City as a Multiversal diety who also hates 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝓫𝓸𝓫 while sharing fis goals. Being just Squidward, nothing about him had even remotely changed except for his desire to do positive things. His character is an alternate reality version of his character from Bikini Bottom Horror at least in terms of his character arc, but in terms of the actual narrative, he's a separate character who did a few personal crimes before splitting off to join the Agency Against the Freaky Society.

Instead of doing freaky things, he does positive things instead, often getting used as a body for 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝓫𝓸𝓫 to torture without his consent. Smugward is the laughing stock of the survivors, who sides with them out of a desire to find out what crimes are being done in the ocean, despite intending to cause the collapse, Patrick as the Tortured One interfered to make him regret his actions similar to when he destroyed SpongeBob during Fools in April and felt like a jackass. Originally he had enough of his antics and saught to drive out the Normies that were trying to set up rules against his racism. Eventually some of his crew would join the Agency Against the 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 Society, but this alliance is temporary and only a means to an end because Smugward is a known liar and completely dishonest in regards to his plans of wanting to take over the ocean so that it can be ran by Squids. He shares similar world views with Mr. Game & Watch and encountered him a few times during the Collapse. Later he would conquer planets and wage war against various armies within Atlantis that were selling out the Freaky gene who sold their people out to the Satanists over various territories that otherwise would belong to the Good Society. At the start of the NPC-𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 War, he would later cumback in the 5700s, unaware of what had just happened having fought the many Patrick clones, Satan, and Project Phoenix who his evil counterpart overthrown shortly before the merge. Like his evil counterpart, Smugward is too stuck up and cares only about himself and his own goals. When he allied back with the Sponge who tortured him the most, he came with a Groyper army and Moon Man to ally with along with his fellow survivors. Smugward remains as a useful pawn in the Agency.
