Variant Marisa is a secondary antagonist in the Gensokyo crisis arc of the freaky saga known for her lack of a face with it being entirely black. she is one of the rare few Variants that are actually Malfested (Freaky Saga) how? you may ask well its simple this isn't the real marisa this is her PC-98 counterpart. After the merge in timelines by the evil seed PC-98 marisa showed up broke into her modern counterparts home stole her clothes changed into them and then later the Malfestation kicked in which caused her to mutate severely beyond Recognition. Marisa shows up a few times within the arc but she makes a bigger appearance in the 5th chapter for some reason. Variant Marisa is considered to be the evil Flander of the normal Marisa Kirisame
