Legend has it the first Tree was created when the first incarnation of The Lorax died (he died of suffocation, as there were no trees). The Lorax is of The Loraxian species, an orange gremlin short in stature with bushy yellow facial features. Loraxians have a life expectancy of around 500 years, after death they are to be reincarnated in a more advanced form than before. Loraxians are also known to be asexual as since all Loraxians are reincarnated after death, there is no need for them to sexually reproduce to survive.
The incarnation of The Lorax that we are most familiar with had their life documented by an acclaimed Scientist/Researcher/Author/Coke Addict named Theodore Seuss Geisel. It appears that the history of every incarnation of the Lorax is very similar, as if history repeats itself.
He tried to stop Vanilla from polluting but failed miserably.
