She managed to keep this secret lifestyle a secret until Prince Philip died, where she became more loose about being a member of the Queen of Spades society.

She simply played the part of naming it and did a clever little prank by naming by it's long name, but since everyone found it a mouthful to call it every time by its proper name, as well as needing a watermark that fits. Everyone found it alright abbreviating it to BBC, pretty much achieving her target prank.
