The Prohibition Saga, sometimes known as the Silent Age of Animation, is both the first saga and introductory saga of the entirety of crossover history.
The saga begins in 1919 United States of America, a year after the end of the Great War. During this new era, the manufacturing and sale of alcoholic beverages becomes prohibited by law, but behind this prohibition, organized crime flourishes. Told from multiple points of view, the conflict begins when a mysterious alchemist recreates sacred immortality elixirs in Manhattan. Through many mishaps and unfortunate events, the elixirs accidentally fall in the hands of random American citizens.
The characters in question include three financially struggling room-mates, their pet dog, a wealthy pig from a renowned family, two upcoming plumbers from Brooklyn, two former Great War sailors, their love interest, a nomadic rabbit, a dimwitted hunter, an orphaned chief executive officer, who are, at first, unconnected to one another but as the story progresses, the characters begin to cross paths, setting off events that spiral further out of control.
