Handsome Jackass is the Hyperion CEO who has made numerous attempts to destroy 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴society through the use of Pandora's Vault, volcanic chamber containing a powerful creature known only as "The Warrior", a creature so strong that only 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴bob himself could even have a chance at killing it.
Background[edit | edit source]
Jack's father died when he was young and his mother left him in the 'care' of her mother, Jack's grandmother who abused him. The mental damage was so great that as an adult, Jack eventually had his grandmother killed by bandits. Later in his adult life, Jack married and had a daughter Angel, who was a siren, a rare occurrence where a girl is born with extraordinary powers. This lead Jack to become protective of his daughter, who because a target for 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴society, due to there hatred of anything with powers that could dare to dethrone from there seat of power. Jack's wife was later killed by assassins and he was later scared by the assassins. After the fight Jack's face was disfigured to the point that he designed and wore a gold bandit mask that he now uses. This event caused Jack to be furious with the society, swearing vengeance on those who took his wife from him.
Hunt for the Vault[edit | edit source]
Jack soon took a job with Hyperion a space company original meant to observe Pandora and produce guns, but an attack on the company left it in ruins. Little is know how but during the climax of the battle with their attackers Jack took control of the company and programed the robot loader to kill the invaders, stopping the battle and leaving him in the position of power as CEO. After seizing control of Hyperion, Jack began hunting in hopes of any weapon that could destroy 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴society even if it killed him, but in his hunt for the vault and revenge began neglecting his own daughter. Jack later found the vault and discovered he needed three vault keys to open it. It was at this time vault hunters started going after the vault too. While jack was able to retrieve the first two keys, the hunters already had the third. A huge battle between the hunters and Hyperion ensued, leaving all but one of the hunters brutalized and destroyed, but one slipped out of the battle and found Jacks daughter Angel, killing her with little remorse. Jack soon found his daughters corpse after the battle and now as a broken man with nothing left to lose hunted the Vault hunter who killed his daughter and tortured him for 3 hours before finally killing him.
Opening the vault and the assault on the 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴society[edit | edit source]
Now with nothing left to lose, Jack found and opened the vault, releasing the Warrior. But the release of the warrior was worse than Jack thought, as the creature ravaged the planet and killed thousands of innocents, Jack soon realized that everything he did was for nothing and decide a final assault was all he had left to do. Going for an all out assault on the 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴society attacking the main headquarters and killing thousands if not millions of underlings. This was Jack's revenge and he knew he wasn't getting out of it alive. Unmasking himself for the first time in years he proudly exclaimed to the society that he was going to kill as many of them as possible. Jack had planned a nuclear bomb to destroy everything but the bomb didn't trigger. He decided to go in guns blazing on foot. During the fight Jack was later gunned down by Mr. Bean, delivering Jack a fate he knew was coming sooner or later.
Aftermath[edit | edit source]
Even after Jack's death, the Hyperion loaders and any surviving member of Hyperion continued to assault the headquarters for another 14 minutes before being destroyed completely. Hyperion was destroyed in its entirety and no members of the faction survived the assault. This attack lead a butterfly affect the later lead to the NPC-Freaky war due to Jack's attack giving the NPCs hope that the 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴society could be destroyed.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Jack has heterochromia meaning that his eyes are two different colors, being blue and green
- He has a diamond pony called "Butt Stallion", which Jack clarifies is in fact a living horse made of diamonds. The horse was killed during the assault
- Jack Gave himself the name "Handsome Jackass", believing the society would see him as a jackass anyway so wanted to take way the 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴society's being the one giving him the name
