Frowning Friends, or Frowning Fiends, is a spin-off series starring the eponymous villainous anti-heroic organization. It's basically the same as Smiling Friends except it's edgy and hardcore and shit, man!

Episodes

Season 1

• Desmond's Final Day - the frowning friends try everything in their power to make an otherwise happy desmond shoot himself.
• Mrs. Frog - Grim and Gnarly kill Mr. Frog's mom by making her inexplicably contract brain tumors, resulting in his dad tearfully disowning him, Mr. Frog beginning his anime villain arc and vowing revenge on the two. From this episode onwards he becomes a frequent villain throughout the show.
• The Divorce - shrimp finally marries shrimpina and thus grim and gnarly must find a way to tamper with their relationship
• A Scary Halloween Special - Mr. Evil wears the skins of his victims as a halloween costume.
• We Violently Murdered Simon S. Salty! - Grim and Gnarly violently murder Simon S. Salty.
• Haunted Forest - Grim and Gnarly explore the evil haunted demonic forest that's right next to their office building.
• Smiling Friends - A rival business moves across the street, much to Mr. Evil's dismay. 'Nuff said.
• Gnarly Gets Banished Into The Shadow Realm and Never Escapes - Gnarly gets sent to the shadow realm after a losing to Grim in Candyland, ironically while there is a death metal session in his bedroom and explores the Shadow Realm. He finds and befriends Jerry Squealer and quickly devises a plot for him and Jerry to escape.
• The Frowning Friends Go to Japan! - Grim and Gnarly launch a second nuke on Hiroshima and everyone fucking dies lmao. I'm suffering from burnout and thus there will be no new episodes and I'm ending the show.

Season 2

• Graham - Grim and Gnarly find Graham’s office (grim is Graham’s brother) so Graham invites them to work for 24 hours and they receive 100.000 frowningfriendsillion dollars.
• the worst fucking finale in all of fiction - Grim and Gnarly, following the recent YT video essay trend, shit on the TADC finale and say it's worse than Tommy Wiseau's The Room and the entirety of Game of Thrones combined. It's partly true honestly ngl.
• The Bad Boss - Grim and Gnarly hire a boss. However he's way worse than you'd expect.
• Scrim Returns - Gnarly skives work to play the recently found Colombine shooter's Doom WAD files, eating the sinister sushi that ironically would end up giving him kidney failure. Due to his absence, and to Mr. Evil's insistence that Grim needs a co-worker for today's job, he calls in his first frowning friend: The dastardly Scrim from his 14 hour long retirement. Throughout the episode the antics of Scrim's negative negativity attitude, makes Grim feel annoyed by how much inadvertent joy and positivity his negativity brings.
