Elgoog
The Kingdom of Elgoog is a giant island country in the planet of Azoorg that is 10x the size of Canada on Earth, yet is only the third biggest on it's planet. The inhabitants of Elgoog are known as the Elgoogese and are known for having an annual feast called the Spagorgeg where everyone has jellybean and pickle sandwich eating contests. The capital is Bagorginda and the largest city is Ofgorms.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
The name Elgoog derives from the Old Elgoogese word for "wood", which was Goog (the modern Elgoogese word for wood is Food). El is the Elgoogese word for "bright, golden". Therefore rendering the literal meaning of Elgoog as "Golden Wood".
Le History[edit | edit source]
50,000 years ago, cave-elves began to swim to the land that we now call Elgoog from the mainland continent east of it. Hunter-gatherers settled in and depended on eating animals such as the Aamak and the Polindrak to survive. Soon enough the cave-elves became dominant and kicked the other species that were trying to build a civilization there, the Gloggarooes, out after a few clashes and fights. The Gloggarooes left the island in disgrace and swam eastwards to form a culture in the mainland which would later become the modern day nation of Klockadoo. Elgoog and Klockadoo are in a fierce rivalry to this very day.

The very concept of economics bores the shit out of the Elgoogese so they don't partake in it.
