Benson Cross is the leader of a morally ambiguous group known as the BEI dedicated to researching extraterrestrial life underwater. A villain who is occasionally an anti-hero or rival, his organization defends Bikini Bottom from aliens by whatever means necessary even if it crossing boundaries and doing rather morally gray actions to stop aliens. Although his organization is there to protect Bikini Bottom, he often puts his own interests above others. He appears to be a blue version of a background character from the canon episode "Grooming Gary". In the Freaky Saga he would attempt to wiretap FreakyBob as an NPC before finding out how much the Freaky Society hates heroes and in turn pull his entire agency from serving the government and towards FreakyBob's werid ambitions against the Lunarians on the moon. Benson Cross however would not find himself liking FreakyBob and would be constantly be put under pressure as a semi-hostage as well as a funder to the Society. His ethics pre-timeskip were similar to Commander Cobra but for SpongeBob being a part of the system but not in favor of any heroes. By the time FreakyBob was done messing around with Benson Cross' own federal agency, Benson Cross would be put in the same room as a hostage to Garfield as potential cat food and the whole of BEI which once wiretapped FreakyBob was now ruled by his lawlessness. The source of his corruption would later be revealed to be the influence of the Necrons, with follow Inquisitor Adam 'the Ghost' Smith corrupted with Mindshackle Scarabs, however Benson Cross was never influenced and guninely believed that superheroes were scum.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Benson Cross is an ambitious and enigmatic figure in the CrösS;OVEr universe. He is the head of the BEI (Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation), a secretive organization dedicated to discovering and capturing extraterrestrial life. His obsession with the unknown, particularly alien species, drives much of his actions, often leading him to morally questionable decisions. Cross is known for forming uneasy alliances with shady figures like Mr. Craps, as they share a desire to make the world "better," albeit through extreme methods. In addition to this, he seeks to get funding from shady sources such as Howard Blandy, or corrupt politicians and businessmen from across the seas by whatever means necessary to save Bikini Bottom from alien lifeforms. In "BEI UFO Raid," Benson is lured to an island by reports of a UFO sighting. Expecting to encounter aliens, he instead finds a tribe of starfish calling for help, as they are being attacked by Manray. Benson's resourcefulness allows him to adapt to the unexpected situation, and he agrees to assist the starfish, albeit for his own ulterior motives. His willingness to intervene suggests a pragmatic side, though he remains focused on his larger goal: uncovering extraterrestrial secrets to expand the BEI's influence.

Benson's story takes a darker turn later in the Meme Saga, where he is warned by a mysterious figure within the Imperium of Gods who explains that tampering too deeply with the cosmos could have dire consequences. Should Benson cross certain moral lines, he risks being trapped in a mysterious, dangerous far out location that seeks to create the Soul Matrix trap, a place from which few return. This warning serves as a reminder that his ambition, if left unchecked, could lead to his downfall. Throughout his various appearances, Benson Cross remains a character torn between his prior actions in which he attempted to seek for a thirst for knowledge and power, and the consequences of his agency's more morally questionable actions. He navigates the often absurd and chaotic world of Bikini Bottom, making him a standout figure who operates in the gray area between villain and anti-hero. His interactions with characters like Mr. Krabs, and even SpongeBob himself, paint him as a complex figure with grand ambitions, though often at odds with the whimsical and light-hearted nature of the greater CrösS;OVEr world.

Personality[edit | edit source]

His leadership style is marked by a blend of ambition and cunning, showcasing his determination to maintain the agency's authority amidst the chaotic business environment. As a business mogul, Benson is known for his sharp wit and strategic thinking, often engaging in fierce competition with others like Howard Blandy prior to his banishment which caused him to seek an alliance within the Tenekoroshi Labs. His resourcefulness allows him to navigate various challenges, including conflicts with rival entrepreneurs and encounters with extraterrestrial threats. Despite his corporate demeanor, Benson possesses a deeply inquisitive nature, often delving into conspiracy theories, particularly regarding aliens. His obsession with uncovering the truth about potential alien invaders reflects a sense of paranoia mixed with an earnest desire to protect Bikini Bottom from unknown dangers. This trait sets him apart from his contemporaries, as he often prioritizes the safety of his community over his own ambitions. However, his conspiracy-laden mindset can also lead him to overlook practical solutions, creating tension between him and those who prefer a more straightforward approach to problem-solving.

Benson's relationships with his employees and associates reveal another layer of his character. He can be both a mentor and a manipulator, sometimes pushing his team to achieve their best while simultaneously expecting unwavering loyalty. This duality creates an atmosphere of fear and respect among his subordinates, as they navigate the fine line between admiration for his success and apprehension regarding his methods. His interactions often oscillate between camaraderie and intimidation, leading to a complex dynamic within the BEI. Ultimately, Benson Cross embodies the archetype of a driven leader with a hint of eccentricity, consistently grappling with the fine balance between ambition and ethical considerations. His penchant for conspiracy theories and paranoia, coupled with his sharp business acumen, paints a picture of a character constantly at odds with both his surroundings and himself. As he faces rival business moguls, potential alien threats, and the intricacies of his own mind, Benson Cross remains a compelling figure in the ongoing saga of SpongeBob Fanon, representing the intersection of ambition, fear, and the pursuit of truth.

Rivalry With Howard Blandy[edit | edit source]

Benson Cross’s rivalry with Howard Blandy is rooted in contrasting ideals and competing visions for the future of Bikini Bottom. Howard, a suave and resourceful businessman, sees immense potential in the privatization of cutting-edge technology—specifically in leveraging scientific advancements in the private sector for profit. While he doesn't have the resources to start a full-fledged alien tech company, Howard instead focuses on acquiring government contracts and striking deals with inventors to secure access to new technologies. By privatizing these advancements, he positions himself as a leader in efficient tech management solutions, aiming to use the technology of others to transform everyday underwater life with high-end gadgets and streamlined solutions. This places him at odds with Benson, whose primary concern is public safety and ethical implications. Benson provides technology to businesses that keep in afloat but at the cost of creating standardization in the fast food industry.

Benny's Breakfast Diner[edit | edit source]

Benny's is a vibrant diner nestled in the heart of Bikini Bottom, but beneath its cheerful exterior lies a darker purpose. While it presents itself as a popular eatery, it is, in fact, a front for the Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI) to launder money. The diner’s charming decor and welcoming atmosphere attract a steady stream of customers, but the real activity occurs behind the scenes, where financial transactions and covert dealings are orchestrated. Benny's serves as a convenient cover for BEI's operations, allowing them to funnel illicit profits while maintaining the façade of a beloved local establishment. Founded by Benson Cross Sr., the diseased grandfather of Benson Cross, the diner has seen its fair share of notable figures, including Stanley S. SquarePants, who once worked there as a part-time waiter. However, Stanley's role extended far beyond serving pancakes and coffee; he was also a secret agent for the BEI, tasked with gathering intelligence and ensuring the organization’s interests were protected. Additionally, Mr. Craps, formerly known as Mr. Krabs' evil cousin, also worked at Benny's after reforming his ways. His presence added an unexpected twist, as he brought a unique blend of culinary skills and a reformed perspective on business. Together, Stanley and Mr. Craps contributed to the diner’s bustling environment while also engaging in discreet conversations that served the BEI's covert agenda.

Benson Cross, the owner of Benny's and head of the BEI, is a complex character whose personality reflects the duality of the establishment. He is ambitious and shrewd, often prioritizing profits and power over ethical considerations. Benson’s charismatic demeanor allows him to charm patrons and business associates alike, but beneath his affable surface lies a calculating mind that is always plotting the next move. His leadership style is characterized by a mix of inspiration and intimidation, motivating his employees to excel while instilling a sense of fear regarding the consequences of failure. Moreover, Benson's obsession with conspiracy theories, particularly those involving extraterrestrials, adds an eccentric layer to his character. His paranoia often drives him to engage in reckless pursuits, such as hunting down UFOs or enforcing strict security measures around his businesses. This fixation can lead to conflicts with those around him, especially when his theories interfere with the day-to-day operations of Benny's or the BEI. Ultimately, Benson Cross embodies the embodiment of ambition, secrecy, and an insatiable quest for control, making him a formidable figure in the bustling world of Bikini Bottom and the shadowy underbelly of the BEI.

Benny's Rivalry With Fancy[edit | edit source]

Benny's is locked in a heated rivalry with Fancy, the upscale restaurant renowned for its gourmet cuisine and elegant atmosphere. While Fancy prides itself on offering a refined dining experience, Benny's takes a different approach, often serving breakfast items that push the boundaries of extravagance and price. Diners at Benny's can indulge in decadent dishes like truffle-infused eggs Benedict or gold-flaked French toast, which not only tantalize the taste buds but also leave a noticeable dent in their wallets. This rivalry keeps both restaurants on their toes, as they continually strive to outdo each other with more extravagant menu offerings and exclusive promotions, creating a competitive yet dynamic dining scene in Bikini Bottom. Benny's has cultivated a reputation for breaking the bank with its opulent breakfast items, attracting those willing to splurge on a memorable meal. While Fancy might offer a more subdued luxury, Benny's embraces its outrageousness, marketing itself as the go-to destination for over-the-top breakfasts that are both delicious and Instagram-worthy. This strategy appeals to a wide array of customers, from locals seeking a splurge to tourists eager for a unique dining experience. The rivalry with Fancy only fuels Benny's ambition to create innovative dishes that push culinary boundaries while ensuring that its prices reflect the extravagant nature of its offerings, solidifying its position as a bold player in Bikini Bottom's competitive restaurant scene.

Mr. Krab's Visit to Benny's[edit | edit source]

In a surprising twist during the ongoing rivalry, Mr. Krabs found himself at Benny's one morning, drawn in by the buzz surrounding an extravagant new dish created by Mr. Craps, his former evil cousin turned employee. The meal, a towering seafood stack topped with both lobster and crab meat, was touted as the most expensive item on the menu. As Mr. Krabs bit into the opulent creation, he couldn't help but exclaim, "This be the tastiest treasure I've ever sunk me teeth into! But me wallet is feelin' lighter than a jellyfish!" Despite the indulgence, the price nearly shattered his monthly revenue goals, leaving him conflicted. He muttered to himself, “If I keep eatin’ like this, I’ll be back to counting me pennies by the end of the month!” His grumbling continued as he fished out his wallet, shaking his head in disbelief, "A meal like this could ruin me business, but it sure is a feast fit for a king!"

With a mischievous grin, Mr. Craps leaned over the counter, arms crossed and eyebrows raised. “Aha, I see you’ve taken the plunge into luxury, eh, Krabs? Don’t let that fine taste fool you! Just one bite of this meal and your bank account might as well be a sunken ship!” Mr. Krabs rolled his eyes but couldn’t suppress a smirk at his cousin’s playful bravado. “Publicity be fine, but I need to keep me ship afloat! If I keep comin’ back for your fancy grub, I might end up with barnacles on me bank account!” Mr. Craps chuckled and waved a dismissive hand. “Ah, but what’s a little extravagance without some good-natured chaos? Just don’t come cryin’ to me when you’re diving for spare change!” As Mr. Krabs left Benny’s, he laughed to himself, realizing that while Mr. Craps' culinary skills were impressive, they could just as easily sink him financially if he wasn’t cautious.

Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation[edit | edit source]

The Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI) operates at the intersection of comedic chaos, tasked with safeguarding Bikini Bottom from alien threats. Its purpose is to investigate and neutralize extraterrestrial encounters, often leading to bizarre situations. The agents of the BEI are responsible for monitoring potential alien activity, ranging from mischievous entities to the more dangerous. Their mission is not only to protect the oceanic city but also to gather intelligence on the many peculiar species that may have their sights set on Bikini Bottom, ensuring that residents remain blissfully unaware of the looming dangers. The work environment at the BEI is a blend of high-stakes urgency and comedic dysfunction, primarily driven by its eccentric team. Together, the various personnel navigate the absurdity of their roles, tackling threats with a blend of humor and intensity.

Task Force[edit | edit source]

The BEI is known for keeping it's employees under cover and seek to hide evidence of their existence, however a few of their staff have been publicly documented.

  • Daniel Grant: An FBI agent turned BEI investigator, Daniel is known for his aggressive and somewhat reckless approach to problem-solving. He often resorts to physical confrontations and has a dismissive attitude toward the seriousness of his job, treating it more like a joke than a duty. Despite his violent tendencies, he brings a certain chaotic energy to the team.
  • Michael Scorn: Daniel's partner, Michael, is the polar opposite of Daniel. He is serious, meticulous, and dedicated to his work, often finding himself exasperated by Daniel’s antics. Michael’s snarky remarks about Daniel's incompetence provide a humorous contrast to the often tense situations they encounter. He keeps a level head in crises, ensuring that their investigations remain focused and efficient.
  • Sergeant Roderick: A drill sergeant figure, Roderick takes his responsibilities very seriously. He helps oversee the operations of the BEI and also manages the Underwater Space Agency (USA). His authoritative presence keeps the team in line and ensures that they are always prepared for encounters with extraterrestrial threats.
  • Stanley S. SquarePants: A junior investigator with a knack for discovering oddities, Stanley is often seen as the team's mascot and double agent as Bro Sponge. He is to Benny's and the BEI to what SpongeBob is to the Krusty Krab. His enthusiasm and curiosity drive him to pursue leads that others might dismiss as ridiculous.
  • Mr. Craps: Recently reemployed by the BEI, Mr. Craps, known for his scheming nature, brings a unique perspective to the agency. He often reminisces about his undercover days and is motivated by his desire to burn other people's money, leading him to sometimes prioritize his own interests over the agency's goals.

Alliance With Underwater Space Agency[edit | edit source]

The alliance between the Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI), led by Benson Cross, and the Undersea Space Agency (USA), where Sergeant Roderick serves, plays a vital role in addressing extraterrestrial threats in Bikini Bottom. This partnership enhances the investigative capabilities of the BEI while leveraging the USA's resources for space exploration. Together, they monitor alien activities and devise strategies for potential interventions, creating a collaborative environment that balances seriousness with the whimsicality of their underwater world. The daily operations at the USA illustrate the unique blend of characters and absurd situations that arise from this alliance. General Grouper, overseeing astronaut training, enforces rigorous protocols for physical examinations and readiness assessments. The soldiers undergo a series of challenges, from lung capacity tests to simulated space missions, preparing them for the unpredictable nature of alien encounters. These operations reflect both the serious undertakings of extraterrestrial defense and the comedic misadventures that characterize life in Bikini Bottom, highlighting the importance of teamwork in their ongoing quest to protect their underwater home.

Alliance With Bikini Bottom Kaiju Force[edit | edit source]

The alliance between the Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI) and the Bikini Bottom Kaiju Force (BBKF) is a complex partnership that blends Benson Cross's ambitions with the BBKF's practical needs. Driven by his obsession with extraterrestrial life, Benson views the BBKF as a crucial ally in his quest for knowledge and influence. While the BBKF focuses on combating immediate threats from kaiju, Benson sees these encounters as opportunities to expand the BEI's resources and understanding of otherworldly phenomena. However, the BBKF remains cautious of Benson's methods, given his history of forming uneasy alliances and making morally questionable decisions. As their collaboration unfolds, both organizations learn from one another, leading to moments of reluctant respect and camaraderie. The BBKF provides the muscle and local expertise to tackle kaiju attacks, while Benson contributes his technological insights and knowledge of extraterrestrial threats. This partnership challenges Benson to consider ethical implications in his pursuits, while the BBKF gains a broader perspective on the cosmic nature of their battles. Ultimately, their alliance emphasizes the themes of ambition and responsibility, highlighting that in the chaotic depths of Bikini Bottom, the quest for understanding and safety often requires navigating complex moral waters.

Targets and "Evil" Aliens[edit | edit source]

These are specific groups or races of aliens that the Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI) would focus on due to their potential threats to Earth or the universe. Each target represents a unique challenge that the BEI must confront.

The Jelliens[edit | edit source]

The Jelliens, as introduced in Planet of the Jellyfish, pose a significant threat to the Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI) due to their ability to clone and replace individuals with nearly perfect copies. These alien jellyfish, serving the Jellien Overlord, can transform sea creatures into obedient Jellien clones, making it difficult to distinguish friend from foe. This infiltration strategy would overwhelm the BEI's defenses, allowing the Jelliens to manipulate society from within while creating an army of hidden agents. With their cloning abilities, the Jelliens could even replace BEI agents, compromising their operations and making it impossible to trust those around them. Their manipulative tactics, coupled with their combat readiness, make them a serious adversary. In response to this threat, the BEI must develop new versions of mayonnaise, an experimental anti-alien compound, to counteract the mutations caused by Species X—an equally dangerous alien force. Species X mutations, much like the Jellien cloning process, can warp the biology of living creatures, making them unpredictable and harder to fight. The new mayonnaise versions must be potent enough to not only neutralize the invasive influence of Species X mutations but also provide a defense against the Jelliens' cloning and infiltration abilities. Without such advancements, the BEI risks losing ground against these evolving threats, leaving Earth's inhabitants vulnerable to complete takeover.

Goofy Goobers[edit | edit source]

The Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI) had been tracking unusual activity in Bikini Bottom for some time, but recent reports surrounding Goofy Goober's Ice Cream Party Boat had raised alarms. What initially seemed like a harmless theme restaurant had taken on a more sinister tone, with increasing numbers of Bikini Bottom's residents becoming obsessed with the establishment. The BEI had received disturbing intelligence suggesting that Goofy Goober's was operating more like a cult, recruiting vulnerable citizens into its ranks under the guise of fun, but with an underlying focus on strange rituals and alien worship. The organization began to suspect that this behavior might be tied to something extraterrestrial, a potential connection that warranted immediate investigation. What truly concerned the BEI was the rumors of a so-called "departure event," an eerie parallel to the notorious Heaven's Gate cult. The idea that this group could be preparing its followers for some kind of alien ascension or mass disappearance was too dangerous to ignore. Given the unusual obsession of its members and the possibility of extraterrestrial influence, Goofy Goober's posed a significant threat to Bikini Bottom's safety. The BEI feared that the organization’s cult-like behavior could either be masking alien activity or, worse, be an alien plot itself, drawing in unsuspecting citizens for a darker purpose. For the BEI, this was no longer just about ice cream—it was about stopping a possible invasion.

Bleep and Bloop[edit | edit source]

Bleep and Bloop pose a significant threat due to their immense psychic powers, which can potentially wreak havoc on a cosmic scale. Initially, Beep, a cute alien, seems harmless, but as events unfold, SpongeBob and Patrick realize that his abilities may be more sinister than they first appeared. They find themselves pursued by various powerful entities, all of whom recognize the catastrophic potential that Beep embodies. This pursuit escalates to a climactic battle where Bleep and his ally Moop, a powerful alien terrorist, reveal their true strength, effortlessly defeating seasoned heroes and agents alike. This culminates in a desperate fight for survival as the protagonists grapple with the realization that Beep might indeed be an evil entity. Moreover, Bleep and Bloop's actions spark a chaotic chain reaction throughout the universe, drawing attention from numerous factions who are either eager to exploit or neutralize the threat. Their encounter escalates when Moop reveals his intentions to conquer using Beep’s powers, further complicating the situation as alliances are tested and true intentions are revealed. The presence of these aliens serves as a catalyst for conflict among various groups, including the BEI, who are forced to confront the existential threat posed by these psychic beings. As they wield their formidable powers, Bleep and Bloop not only challenge the heroes of Bikini Bottom but also endanger the fabric of reality itself, prompting a desperate bid for resolution before they can unleash their full potential.

The Infestians[edit | edit source]

The Infestians are a terrifying, zombie-like species born from a parasitic organism originating from deep space. When this parasite infects a host—whether human, fish, or alien—it seizes control of their body and mind, converting them into a near-mindless drone with one goal: to propagate the parasite. Infected hosts, or Infestians, exhibit heightened aggression and unwavering obedience to the parasite’s hive mind, becoming relentless in their efforts to spread the infection. Each new host intensifies the threat, as the parasite adapts quickly, developing resistance to conventional containment and extermination methods. Upon discovering the presence of Infestians in Bikini Bottom, the Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI) declared them an urgent, top-level threat. Given the infectious and adaptive nature of these creatures, they pose a significant risk of triggering a full-scale infestation, potentially turning the population of Bikini Bottom—and beyond—into carriers of this alien parasite. In response, the BEI has launched an intensive research initiative focused on anti-parasitic agents and containment strategies, working to develop countermeasures that might curb the Infestians’ spread. Recognizing the enormity of the threat, the BEI sought collaboration with the Atlantean Government, a highly advanced society with centuries of expertise in bio-defense and alien technology. The Atlanteans, who have long been aware of the dangers lurking beyond Earth, were quick to assist. Their extensive research facilities and access to rare, powerful substances proved invaluable, allowing the BEI to develop experimental anti-parasitic compounds. Together, they devised a joint task force that combines the BEI’s field expertise with Atlantean technology and medical advancements, focusing on suppressing outbreaks and containing the infection's spread. This partnership between the BEI and the Atlantean Government has become essential not only for containing the Infestian plague but also for developing future defenses against similar extraterrestrial biohazards. The cooperation reflects a growing alliance between land and sea powers, combining their unique strengths to combat the relentless extraterrestrial threats facing Earth.

B.O.O.T.S.[edit | edit source]

B.O.O.T.S. (Bureau Of Official Texas Science) is a for-profit organization that initially appeared to align with Benson Cross and the Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI) in their mission to protect Bikini Bottom and its inhabitants from extraterrestrial threats. Originally desiring a source for electricity to contain aliens, B.O.O.T.S. later revealed to have been scheming and lying to the organization's leader. However, their true intentions were revealed to be far more sinister ever since they had tried to steal Bikini Bottom. Under the leadership of Sue Nahmee, a fervent mechanical cultist and overlord with a hidden agenda to resurrect a dark, intelligent, and malevolent alien mastermind—an imposing figure characterized by his rotund physique, wild mustache, a love for machines, and penchant for diabolical schemes—B.O.O.T.S. shifted from ally to adversary. Sue's obsession with this ancient being is fueled by her belief that reviving him would grant her unparalleled power and influence over the underwater realm, positioning B.O.O.T.S. as a dangerous player in the ongoing battle for Bikini Bottom's fate. Tied to the conspiracy theory posited by Alex "Bale" Fishman, B.O.O.T.S. operates a laboratory in Galveston, Texas, where they exploit technology to lift Bikini Bottom and its inhabitants out of the ocean, leaving them vulnerable. When Sandy Cheeks and SpongeBob SquarePants embark on a mission to restore their home to the ocean floor, they unwittingly find themselves at the center of B.O.O.T.S.' nefarious plans. After encountering unexpected challenges, including a tornado and a gang of rattlesnakes, they learn of Sue's insidious goal to genetically modify and clone the residents of Bikini Bottom for profit. The situation escalates as Sandy's family arrives, leading to chaotic confrontations and daring escapes. In a climactic showdown, Sandy ultimately confronts Sue, who reveals her true nature as a cyborg, driven by her misguided desire for companionship with the underwater denizens. The battle to reclaim Bikini Bottom culminates in an unlikely alliance, demonstrating the resilience of friendship against dark ambitions.

"The Muse"[edit | edit source]

The Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation (BEI) grows suspicious of Happy Meat Farms after livestock shipments display bizarre genetic mutations, leading them to suspect a connection with the "Don't Feed the Muse" conspiracy. Led by Benson Cross, the BEI sends undercover agents to investigate, uncovering encrypted communications and evidence of genetic experiments tied to alien technology. Alex "Bale" Fishman, an investigative filmmaker documenting strange occurrences, inadvertently becomes a witness when he captures footage of one of Happy Meat Farms' mutated creatures during a visit to their facilities. His footage shows disturbing evidence of bio-technological tampering, fueling the BEI's suspicions. With Fishman’s video serving as a key piece of evidence, the investigation intensifies, revealing that the company's experiments may be part of a larger plan to manipulate human evolution with extraterrestrial influence.

The Martian Council[edit | edit source]

The BEI (Bureau of Extraterrestrial Investigation) declares the Martian Council a significant threat due to its hostile response to the human and fish settlements on Mars. Initially, the settlers from Earth believed that Mars was a relatively barren and open landscape for colonization, facilitated by the Celestritrain. However, the Martian Council’s swift and violent reaction, involving elite alien warriors, revealed the existence of a powerful and technologically-advanced society with deep-rooted territorial claims. The BEI views this aggression as a direct threat not only to the safety of the settlers but also to the broader stability of interplanetary relations. With the Martian Council openly opposing any foreign presence and demonstrating their military might, the BEI perceives their actions as a precursor to larger-scale conflict, thus justifying the need for increased vigilance and intervention. Moreover, as the settlers uncover the complexity of Martian society, including vast, futuristic metropolises hidden across the planet, it becomes clear that Mars is far more advanced than previously imagined. The BEI realizes that the Martian Council, with its superior technology and strategic organization, poses an existential threat not only to the small settlements but potentially to Earth itself. The Council’s relentless assaults, refusal to negotiate, and determination to expel all non-Martian entities create an atmosphere of imminent danger. Given the potential for this conflict to escalate into a full-scale war—one that Earth and its underwater colonies may not be equipped to win—the BEI is left with no choice but to label the Martian Council as an immediate and formidable adversary, prioritizing the protection of the settlers while preparing for the possibility of interplanetary war.

Zenthorians[edit | edit source]

The Xaingoites and Zenthorians pose a formidable threat to the BEI due to their advanced technologies and aggressive expansionist tendencies. The Zenthorians, a powerful alien race responsible for creating beings like Ren, are notorious for their ruthless tactics and militaristic approach to conquest. Their ability to manipulate and engineer life forms for their own purposes underscores a terrifying level of scientific advancement that the BEI struggles to comprehend. With their eyes set on Earth, the Zenthorians view the planet not only as a potential conquest but as a resource to exploit, using their superior intelligence and strategy to outmaneuver any opposition. This ambition is further exacerbated by Ren’s betrayal, as the Zenthorians are now enraged and determined to recover their “traitor,” leading them to mobilize their forces for an interstellar campaign against those who harbor him.

Xaingoites[edit | edit source]

In contrast, the Xaingoites present a different kind of threat—one rooted in their territorial aggression and hostility toward any intruders. Known for their fierce warrior culture, the Xaingoites have been embroiled in a long-standing conflict with the Zenthorians, seeking to protect their own interests in the galaxy. Their relentless pursuit of Ren, not only as a tactical advantage but also as revenge against the Zenthorians, could escalate tensions into a full-scale invasion of Earth. The BEI finds itself caught in a precarious position, balancing the need to protect Ren and the potential fallout from angering two highly advanced alien factions. As both the Zenthorians and Xaingoites converge on Earth, the agency must act quickly to uncover Ren’s secrets, develop strategies to thwart the impending invasion, and navigate the complex politics of intergalactic warfare that could threaten the very existence of humanity.

Chef Boyardee[edit | edit source]

In the BEI's pursuit of understanding extraterrestrial life, Chef Boyardee's origins posed a unique challenge, leading to an unconventional probing process that combined both scientific curiosity and a dash of absurdity. The BEI initiated contact after rumors surfaced about Chef Boyardee being more than just a culinary figure; they were intrigued by his claims of being a parasitic humanoid goblin creature from Jupiter. With the intention of uncovering the truth behind his outlandish stories, the BEI orchestrated a covert operation, employing a mix of advanced technology and psychological tactics to probe Chef Boyardee's mind. They set up a series of interviews designed to elicit his detailed accounts of his origins and experiences, utilizing sensory-deprivation chambers and mind-mapping devices to extract hidden memories and insights. This peculiar approach, while unconventional, aimed to ensure that they could gather all the necessary information about his alien physiology and parasitic nature without causing undue alarm. As the probing progressed, the BEI quickly discovered that Chef Boyardee's narrative was as chaotic as it was revealing. His psychotic episodes and animated storytelling led them down a bizarre rabbit hole, from tales of his Jupiter homeland to the intricacies of his parasitic existence on Earth. The BEI team, often caught off guard by the sheer absurdity of his claims, documented his transformations and the bizarre consequences of his parasitic behavior, which often resulted in humorous yet alarming scenarios. The chaotic probing sessions culminated in unexpected revelations, including the fact that Chef Boyardee had inadvertently created a homunculus child—an aquatic humanoid goblin-orc hybrid—through his erratic behavior. The BEI's efforts to probe Chef Boyardee became a fascinating blend of scientific investigation and surreal comedy, further complicating their understanding of extraterrestrial life while also forcing them to confront the bizarre realities that existed within their own world. The BEI later labeled him as safe after doing enough research and now leaves him alone.'

Quag[edit | edit source]

The Quag, once the feared Incumbent Ruler of the Moon, now plots in exile, lurking as a potent threat to the Bureau of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (BEI). Ruthless and calculating, the Quag commands a network of loyal insurgents scattered across lunar colonies and hidden orbital outposts, each eager to restore the Moon’s old order. As the BEI expands its reach, investigating alien worlds and advancing human settlement beyond Earth, the Quag sees an opportunity to disrupt their operations and reclaim power. With his deep knowledge of lunar resources, cloaking technologies, and advanced weaponry, he could be the BEI’s most formidable adversary yet, challenging their authority and pushing them to their limits in a battle for interplanetary influence.

Sandy Cheeks[edit | edit source]

When Sandy Cheeks first descended into Bikini Bottom, her arrival didn’t go unnoticed. The BEI, ever-vigilant for potential extraterrestrial threats, had undercover TSA agents stationed throughout the city to monitor newcomers—especially one as unusual as a surface-dwelling squirrel in a high-tech air suit. As Sandy exited her submarine and explored the jellyfish fields on her way to set up her treedome, the agents quietly followed her every step. They discreetly scanned her gear, analyzed her movements, and intercepted local chatter about the “strange land creature.” To the BEI, Sandy’s advanced technology and her unfamiliar origins raised red flags, leading them to suspect she might be an undercover alien operative or bringing foreign tech that could disrupt their underwater society. After several hours of surveillance, the agents realized that Sandy was no threat at all. Her activities were innocent—just an enthusiastic scientist keen on studying marine life and adapting to her new environment. The agents, now convinced, reported back that the “surface dweller” posed no danger to Bikini Bottom, but they however did suspect something strange with the surface dwellers who sent her.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • When he was first introduced to the defunct SBFW Wiki, he was the main antagonist of a poorly written CommanderNemex film. This character was originally created by CommanderNemex. His backstory was only expanded on because his initial appearance was that of a one dimensional villain and the author of this page felt like that he and the BEI could be more fleshed out and the concept of the character had potential unlike Dexter x Monika.
  • His character had changed throughout the now de-canonized fanon series, even integrating some lore from other SBFW users like Ozzie2009, specifically from his cinematic universe.
