Grounder was a tobacco powered robot built by Poopatine to stop fanboy and shit. However he was made out of a shitty old furnace and a Chimp Chomp arcade machine. So he was not the best at his job, even getting destroyed by Lord Adacas. So as soon as Valentine created Painwheel for Poopatine, Grounder was immediately sacked.

Last chance

For one last attempt to not be scrapped like all the other dumbbots, he was when was tasked in capturing Goku, and he almost succeeded; luring the saiyan using a senzu bean into a giant basket, like snare. The snare caught him. However it was this event Goku elevated to xX Super Duper Beige Saiyan Xx Goku Pi and incinerated the trap, he then kicked grounder all the way to Beetleguese.

He is now friends with Mr. Game & Watch after he convinced the guy to smoke weed everyday.
