Shōko Nishimiya (西宮 硝子, Nishimiya Shōko), also known as Shouko, or Miss Wanna Die, is a secondary character in the Freaky Saga series and main character in Ishval Arc as the main love interest to Hiei and the overall Moral Compass of the Shiloh Pact, later on at the end, she becomes Hiei's Wife as he even changed his last name just for her but in reality he did it to piss off Bean Khan.
She has a disability where she has severe hearing loss to be considered Deaf and has been plagued by it her whole life. She always said words in a very broken way, she still does say them in a broken way but in a lesser extent since now its just sometimes where she struggles but still says stuff in a broken accent. Rob, the guy with no ears, helped her a lot to speak and not to be reliant on Sign Language which she mainly used before. Her best friends include Martlet, Yukina, Zelgadis, Hishiama, and Kuwabara who all support her in any way.
She is aligned with the Freaky SUSiety however isn't a member due to her not wanting to but she hangs out with all of them and practically acts like a member but isn't. Hiei's demands to join the SUSiety was for them to treat Shouko very kindly and for her to be accepted, ofc people gonna make fun of her but they are threatened by Hiei all the time so that stopped.
