Jon Arbuckle (Γιάννης Άρμπακλ, Giánnis Ármpakl), also known as St. Aionios (Αιώνιος) or the Zeus of the NPCs, is a powerful NPC. He was once a random virtually unknown virgin man from Muncie, Indiana who was unable to get laid and also the pet owner of an overweight cat named Garfield and a golden retriever named Odie. After the tragic death of Odie (subtle foreshadowing) and the distancing, deteriorating relationship between him and Garfield's when Garfield became more aligned with the Outer Gods of Chaos and Darkness and captured by the 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 SUSiety! after initially trying to join it, Jon became a sworn freaky hunter, dedicated to his craft, to get revenge on Garfield who is now used as a subject to spread 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 chaos. He joined the Good Society and became an elite NPC demigod who hurled a lightning bolt to the freaky society's headquarters which made it explode and burst into flames, effectively destroying the building and all forms of the freakers' communication in 5736 during the NPC-Freaky War. While Jon was busy destroying random buildings with his lightning ability, Garfield, on the other hand, turned into a horrifying eldritch monstrosity beyond human comprehension.
He has an extreme hatred towards John Thompson.
Biography
Early life
Jonathan Quincy Arbuckle was born in an unspecified day and year during the 50s saga without godly powers to farm-owners Mr. and Mrs. Arbuckle. He also has a farmer brother whom he always calls Doc Boy, much to his brother's annoyance.
When he attended high school, he was nicknamed "Carpface" by the other students. He was once college roommates with Lyman. On Juneteenth, 1978, he adopted Garfield from a pet shop.
During this late 70s period, he also started a heavy rock band named Weed Angel with Lyman and some other guys from college. He actually wanted to do metal but was too virgin to do so. He was the lead singer, but he was fucking horrible at singing and everyone described his songs as "music for virgins" and it never really took off. It however stood out from most of the disco music that dominated the 70s and was considered a precursor to generic 80s music retrospectively by many music historians.
Lyman brought along his dog Odie while moving in with Jon as a roommate, which caused the intense rivalry between his dog and Garfield.
Trivia
- He is the sole reason for why the freakers were completely destroyed. Without him, the NPCs would have most certainly lost against the 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 society. Talk about outdated!
- Mort hates the shit out of him.
- Mr. Game & Watch considers him a "cool guy".
- It's speculated that Jon and the Man in the Yellow Hat are the same person except the latter is in the universe where Jon decided to get an inquisitive monkey for a pet instead of Garfield.
- He has locked up and enslaved Lyman in his basement since the early 1980s for being a freaker.
