The Light Prognosticus: what will you do at the end of the world? are you busy? will you save us? It is a recursive massive multiplayer crossover fanfiction that dares to remake, rewrite, and reimagine all media of the past hundred years into one sprawling, interconnected narrative. The premise, told from multiple points of view, is not just about crossing over existing intellectual propertiesโ€”it is about remaking them entirely, re-contextualizing their origins, and weaving them into an evolving century-long tale that mirrors the social, cultural, and political shifts of real-world history.

The Light Prognosticus opens in the early 1920s, during Americaโ€™s Prohibition era, the cornerstone of everything to come. All characters are, at first, unconnected to one another. After an immortality elixir is recreated in Manhattan and accidentally gets released to the public unknowingly though, the characters begin to cross paths, setting off events that spiral further and further out of control. What basically begins as a simple slice of life narrative with the slight supernatural, slowly spirals into a long epic featuring various forms of a sub arcs and genres. As the decades progress, new heroes emerge alongside the original ones who started it all. The 1930s and 1940s bring superheroes, all operating in the same fragile reality still recovering from economic collapse and global war. By the postwar 1950s, science fiction becomes common place on Earth, with creatures from space and monstrous reshaping world order. Each decade contributes not only new characters but new tones and genres, merging slapstick comedy, wartime drama, horror, romance, and cosmic fantasy into a tragedy by the end of it all.

The medium is not confined to a single one but instead has expended across nearly every form imaginable, deliberately mirroring the evolution of popular culture itself. Traditionally, it's mostly written in prose โ€“ often specifically novels and novellas. However, it should be noted that it can be expended into live theatrical performances, films, television programs, radio dramas, comics, role-playing games, video games, and many more. Even music becomes part of the mythos, with era-specific soundtracks, concept albums, and in-universe bands. Overall, it is the highest grossing form of media to ever exist. Grossing approximately $999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 morbillion dollars.

Upon its completion, the Light Prognosticus was hailed by critics, academics, and audiences alike as the single most incredible artistic creation of the modern age. It received over ten million perfect critical reviews within its first month of completion. It was the only work in human history to receive a 100% rating on every aggregate review site, surpassing both the literary and cinematic canons in one fell swoop. International awards organizations were forced to create new categories to honor its achievements, including โ€œBest Pan-Medium Synthesis,โ€ โ€œMost Transformative Narrative,โ€ and the rarely issued โ€œEschaton Distinction in Fiction.โ€ The story itself has been the subject of extensive analysis for its existential and profound themes, as well as its literary devices. Influences include fantasy works, Hinduism, Buddhism, Qigong, philology, philosophy, classical mythology, Roman history, Norse mythology, Gnosticism, Zoroastrianism, and parts of other Abrahamic religions, such as Christianity, Confucianism, Shintล, and Taoism, as well as numerous fictional precursors.

A sequel is currently being written under the name of the Dark Prognosticus: what will you do at the end of the world? may i see you, once again? Somehow, the sequel is not only on par, but even some fans have even stated of it being even better then the original.

Nobody Sigil.png Creation and Influence

Stories have existed throughout human cultures, and each culture incorporates different elements of truth and fiction into storytelling. The first well known instance of a fictitious story is that of the Epic of Gilgamesh from around 2100โ€“1200 BCE but the actual structure of the modern novel was not developed until Miguel de Cervantes wrote Don Quixote in 1605 CE with the concept of a novel becoming a primary medium of fiction in the 18th and 19th centuries. Novels were then associated with Enlightenment ideas such as empiricism and agnosticism. Realism developed as a literary style at this time too and new forms of mass media developed in the late-19th and early-20th centuries, including popular-fiction magazines and early film.

Sir JD Knudson
With all this new form of storytelling being envisioned across Europe and the United States, world renown writer, Sir Jorkin Depeanits Knudson (known by his pen name: JD), decided that he wanted to create a "magnum opus" of storytelling. Sir Knudson envisioned a story that incorporated all forms of fiction and he wanted to use the new and emerging medium of animation to collect all his thoughts into a new and profound work of art.

Having his story planned out, on November 9th of 1919, Sir Knudson created the prototype of Felix the Cat (known as Master Tom at the time) as a pilot to his new magnum opus. The pilot prototype debuted in a Paramount Pictures short titled Feline Follies. The pilot was a huge success and sir Knudson quickly set to work on his new story. Knudson claimed that John King of Paramount Magazine suggested the name "Felix", as in "feline", and for contrast of the felicity traditionally associated with a black cat. Knudson liked the suggestion and so he went with the name of Felix for the first protagonist in his envisioned interconnected story full of multiple protagonist
