Whispy woods is a buddy of the corrupt dictator King DeDeDe alongside Kracko and Bandana waddle dee who appears as a minor antagonist in fanboy & chum chum, often appearing in opening episodes of each season.
so basically he's monky, but not a monky at all, but a wise mystical tree who likes vaping and blowing smoke at trespassers, that's it.
Kirby loves to bully and beat him up for usually no proper reason other than he has bad vibes.
