The Great catalysts are a series of Giant Magic Catalysts that were built in different universes by the Proto Army.
Construction
One day the magic scholar Oola Boola the wise was messing around with light magic and discovered the spell Enlighten (a spell that destroys the abyss). The proto Army saw him showing the spell at one of the Gigaverse government meetings and came up with the idea of the Great Catalysts.
The Proto Army then spent 304,683,213,1021 years building Catalysts in every universe in order to amplify the effects of the spell enough to really push the abyss back. However once they used the spell through the catalyst it was just as effective as it was before, making it useless for this purpose.
