The Great Coral War erupted when the New Kelp City Mayor and his allies stole a giant gold coin from Atlantis—a powerful artifact believed to hold mystical energy for Atlantis's prosperity. Although the coin does not literally power Atlantis, its value and symbolism make it an essential artifact. The coin’s theft caused King Conrad and his forces to retaliate, forming a coalition with Atlantis and Bikini Bottom to reclaim the treasure.

Driven by a sense of duty, King Conrad led his forces with strategic precision, commanding coral cannons, catapults, and specialized coral helicopters in battles across the ocean floor. Historical Bikini Bottom's troops played a significant role, often in high-risk missions designed to weaken New Kelp City’s defenses. Despite facing heavy resistance, King Conrad’s alliance has managed to inflict significant damage on New Kelp City, though the war remains ongoing.

While his health declined at the start of the war, King Conrad’s resilience and tactical mind have earned him respect among Atlantis’s leadership and the people of Historical Bikini Bottom. His role in the Great Coral War has also deepened tensions between the factions of the underwater world, with the conflict showing no signs of ending soon. ==Trivia==
*The war was being funded by the Eelinski Banking Cartel on both sides of the conflict. He once had ties to the bank but then cut ties once he discovered that the Banking Cartel was also after the Giant Gold Coin of Atlantis and was funding the NKC faction.
*He was replaced with [[King Caden]] 300+ Seasons later and died at the hands of Eelinski backed NKCIA who poisoned him with a nasty dirty sock that was used as a dirty COVID-19 bomb during Christmas.
