Marie is the self proclaimed last skullgirl, and the star antagonist of Skullgirls. Who wishes to cause '''''REVENGE''''' against fat, rich people for being fat and rich. As a working class citizen whose adopted family was killed by Fat Tony and his goons as part of the , it was that trauma that helped antagonized them and made her give in into bearing the [[The Skull Heart|Skull Heart]]. The power of her heart dove into her violent intrusive thoughts and made her '''''EVIL!'''''

She was apparently the weakest of all the Skullgirls that came before her. Although that may be due to her having the strongest will to not kill, out of all the Skullgirls who had succumbed to its hatred.<nowiki>''</nowiki>

== Abilities and Fighting Style: ==
Her weapon of choice is a hoover, that she uses to create Devil May Cry-esq air attack combos on her foes. She also uses it to simply suck their skin and organs of others and converting their skeleton into her army. But most common of all. She uses it to slap her opponents away like a hammer. She despises traditional weapons like guns.

She often calls upon some of her minions to attack, such as Gaster Gangsta Joe and Mr. Hilgard.

She can use telekinesis on dust and debris, that can be used to attack.

She can fire blue energy, in any which way: lasers, flares, even spirit bombs.

Her martial art skills appear to utilize elements of waltz dancing. ==Backstory:==

She was an orphan who shared the the same foster home and adopted family as [[Peacock]]. She hated lazy cunts like Peacock and was naturally ideologue towards a collectivist society, thus, in the [[Hilgard Castle]] she larps as a maid, cuz the actual professional maids and cooks there were her only source of inspiration and the former suit her more. Her first job she set herself as the maid was to splat a fly that has been bothering her and the other kids.  

Growing up with Patricha they would often start civil wars with each other, thanks to their opposite values in life. She despised Pats for being the laziest piece of shit in the home, that was until one day Marie told Patty to get off her ass from hogging the idiot box for 7 hours straight. Patty told her to get lost, but of course the stubborn Marie wouldn't take it any other way. The conflict escalated with threats until the two started brawling. In all the rage, the two accidentally broke the tv screen when Pats threw a [[Brian Griffin]] action figurine at Marie's direction. Mr. Hilgard sent the two to detention, and were given nothing to do but talk to each other for the rest of the day.  

At first Peacock refuses to talk, calling Marie a nerd, spoilsport and a tryhard. But Marie got the Pea to interact keenly when questioning about the show she watches. She admits that she casually enjoys watching Sailor Moon, receiving a free TEDtalk about deeper Sailor Moon lore by the soon-to-be cyborg bounty hunter. Lucky however, Marie managed to naturally convert the subject to music and opened Patty up to the real world and to jam with Marie and others to cook up some blues music. Marie played the piano whilst Pats played the banjo, learning to appreciate each others company and saving each other's asses from their foolishness, tho Marie was doing that more often than otherwise. 

==Skullgirls: ==
Peacock gave her a boner so piercingly funny. she seemingly died.  allowing Peacock to destroy the Skullheart.

However in '''New Game+''' it turned out a shard of the Skullheart still latched onto here, keeping her reanimated and back to her saner old self.  She and Peacock  travel about the country, unable to teleport after losing [[Avery]] in the Poop dimension. All the while trying to stay one step ahead of the [[Parasoul|law]], [[Double]] and the Medicis. Marie still however had to face the demons every now and then, demanding her to destroy society. 

In the end. Marie overcame the will of the gods into becoming a genocide machine that came before her and now travels around world.

==Personality:==
She is consistently adamant, always appears to be diligent and does her best not to cry, cuz that's weakness and to be weak is to be a liability to others, which is the last thing she wants to be.

Normally she was, in Peacock's words, "A goody two-shoes" and a "snitch". She wanted to be respected by others and larped as a maid in the [[Hilgard Castle]].

When consumed by the Skull Heart. She is seen to be very passive aggressive and is quick to tell others to shut the hell up and leave her alone or die in a barrow, or backchat them: "blahblahblah... shush!". She also has a habit there of making a skeleton oral chatter when her flesh binding is looser.

*Living with Patricha, one thing she hates about her is that she quick to stain her own sheets brown.
* She enjoys playing the piano. But she is dogshit at it.
*She can play the harpsicord slightly better than the former.
