== Biography== "''Whenever it snows... I am reminded of those days....the day that you found me....and the day that I finally found you...-and lost you once again Death, and that time... It was for good.''" ===Backstory=== ====Early Life==== Before the story of the "Mad Titan" would come to pass, another tale as old as time left a narrative for the Titan's tale. Long ago, in the land known by legends today as the Island of Creation, Thánatos was simply a daemon born from adultery, and thus had many hardships to endure because of it. Thánatos' mother, Nyx, often told him how much he looked like his father, eventually giving way to severe abuse. Thánatos' mother slowly began to lose her mind, and would often times beat and yell at Thánatos in an act of grief. Thánatos would than run away from home at the age of fifteen, not wanting to have to deal with the abuse any longer and taking to life on the streets of Minoan. ====Adolescence==== On a cold winter's day, Thánatos was feeling weary from starvation when a young black haired girl with blue highlights and silver eyes approached him. The girl's name was Death, and she asked if Thánatos wouldn't get sick sleeping out in the cold, as well as what Thánatos' name was. Thánatos did not have an answer since his name was simply a random name his mother gave him since he was seen as undeserving of a proper meaningful title. Death, bored and unimpressed by that explanation, decided to give him a better name and preferred the nickname of 'Thanos' for him, while she sat down besides him and explained that she ran away from home and wasn't going to go back until Chronos apologized to her. Thánatos admitted that he didn't really care, which sent Death on a tangent and prompted her to jump into Thánatos' blanket with him. [[File:Memories....png|center|thumb|Thánatos meeting Death for the first time.|312x312px]] Thánatos questioned what was wrong with Death in response, with Death asking if, since Thánatos asked her a question, that meant Thánatos was interested in her; wondering if Thánatos wasn't afraid of a Child of Ill Omen. Unfortunately, Thánatos lost consciousness from severe hunger before he was able to answer her, prompting Death to rush off and steal some food, spoons, and clothes. As Thánatos awoke and spent some time chatting with her, the conversation about people was brought into question. Thánatos pessimistically claimed to hate everyone around him. Death stabbed Thánatos' ear when she heard this, telling him that the way he winced was adorable as she licked his wound. Suddenly, Death started singing a song, which Thánatos thought was sad, but enjoyed it because of the happiness it brought Death. The two ventured through the town, soon coming to a forest just outside, where they were attacked by two traffickers. When Death insulted one of the traffickers, he threw her on the ground. In response, Thánatos tried to help Death, but was put in place by one of the traffickers, this angered Death because the traffickers hurt "her favorite plaything". Death summoned her scythe and completely dismembered the two traffickers, singing her song and dancing in their blood as it rained down over top of her. Suddenly, three people clad in red cloaks surrounded Thánatos and Death and extended Chronos' apology to Death, having been drawn to the power of her scythe. Accepting this, Death bid farewell to Thánatos, but not before giving him one of her earrings and telling him to remember the Time Lords and to come and find her next time. Death left with her escorts as Thánatos collapsed on the ground, vowing to reunite with her once again some day. ====Adult Reunion ==== After eight years of rising in status, Thánatos had finally managed to get into the Time Lord estate, Thánatos playing as a waiter at the event until he laid eyes on Death. At this moment, Thánatos threw down his disguise and embraced her with a huge hug, rejoicing over his triumph of finally finding her. Soon after, another Time Lord clubbed Thánatos over the head. Once Thánatos has regained consciousness, he immediately asks if he could see Death, stunning interrogators and prompting them to question Thánatos as to whether or not he was sane or not. The main interrogator explained that his power over the Time Lords was absolute, and so if he wanted Thánatos to be killed, no one would object to it. Without a second thought, Thánatos accepted his subtle threat and asked to see Death once more if he was going to have him killed. Finding Thánatos' attachment to Death odd and entertaining, he informed Thánatos that she often escapes from her home and finds "a pet" to dote on for the day. Thánatos interrupted him, saying that he knew Death wouldn't have remembered him, but he didn't care because it was Death's carefree attitude that prevented her from being tied down, and so he was glad to see that she hadn't changed at all in eight years. Intrigued, the interrogator carried on, he removed his acquaintance's hood in order to introduce Thánatos to Death's brother, Chronos. Suddenly, Death arrived just in time, running in, grabbing Thánatos by the wrist and hauling him outside the courtyard. Outside, Death asked if Thánatos was feeling better, which Thánatos confirmed. Death looked to him and told him that he'd changed a lot since their last meeting, but all-in-all he was still her "cute little Thanos". Death noted the snow falling around them and how when they last met, it'd been snowing too. This brought tears to Thánatos' eyes as he explained that he'd wanted to see her again ever since she'd disappeared. This made Death wonder what Thánatos would do now that he'd fulfilled his goal, though Thánatos was unsure; still finding it surreal that the two of them reunited after so long. The interrogator swooped in behind the two and suggested that Thánatos become a Time Lord if he was so keen on maintaining contact with his crush. ====Joining the Imperium of Gods / Time Lords ==== In the years that followed, Thánatos had truly enjoyed and became accustomed to living with his new adopted family. One day in particular, he was found crawling out from under a bush by Chronos. Thánatos wondered if Chronos knew where he could find Death, Chronos sighing and helping Thánatos to his feet so that he could lead him to her tower. On the way there, Thánatos wondered if something was wrong with Chronos, stopping him dead in his tracks as he asks why Thánatos would ask something like that. Thánatos admitted that he couldn't really place it, but it seemed as though Chronos was more on-edge than usual, though he just brushed it off as nothing. Chronos wondered if Thánatos wasn't curious about why there was a tower isolated on the estate, why Death was forced to dwell in it and what really were Time Lords and their true goals. Thánatos just smiled at him, but thought of how he didn't want to risk losing Death again by asking questions. On the last month of the year during the harsh winter, Thánatos had returned to Death's tower, but was only greeted by Chronos. He coldly informed him that Death had committed suicide with him assisting her. She was executed by Chronos during her own ceremony. Even though, he always had a feeling and somewhat knew that she was going to die, Thánatos was still stunned and asked Chronos to repeat himself, which he complied to as he gave Thánatos Death's earring to match the one she'd given him ten years earlier. Thánatos simply looked at the once missing part of the complete set of earrings, tears slowly flowing out of his. He simply took a breath while closing his eyes and told himself that once again, he had lost his precious Death.
